This book has been talked about quite a bit in the press lately and I must admit that this book has my interest. Basically the book's author Amy Chua recounts her years as a mother to her two daughters with a strict and somewhat harsh Chinese discipline. In several interviews she has admitted that she was really harsh in her disciplines with the girls (like no sleep overs, etc) but also that in turn her daughters are in fact successful. Seems like an interesting read.
Sounds like a rather interesting book,they probably don't sell it in Holland though.（￣へ￣）
