Day 7: Something that Makes You Laugh

Hatsune Miku

I only just recently discovered who Hatsune Miku is and I must say I am a fan! I might still be a newbie to her music but the whole idea/concept of a vocaloid intrigues me. **for those who don't know what a vocaloid is {click here} but basically Ms. Miku's voice is created by synthesizers, aka she's not real**

The craziest thing is that she actually performs live and I totally want to see her.  She made her US debut at AnimeExpo this year and hopefully she will start to perform more here in the US...

Check out this video the KTLA news did about Hatsune Miku

Jaime is one of my favorite fashion bloggers.  Her site is really cute and elegant much like her sense of style.  I love almost every outfit she puts together and her shoe collection is to die for!! (so many Jeffrey Campbell shoes!!! so jealous!!) This is the type of wardrobe I want to have. Perfect whether you are going shopping with girlfriends or looking sharp for a business meeting.  Jaime's style is flawless! You should definitely check out her site, its not to be missed!!

Day 3: Favorite TV Show

Day Three : A picture  of your favorite tv show

Not really your traditional tv series, but Peach Girl is undoubtedly one of my favorite shows to watch.  I cannot begin to tell you the amount of times I have watched this series. Simply the best.

Japan Cinema

I wanted to share an awesome site that offers great reviews on Japanese film, anime, and art -- Japan Cinema

Along with being aesthetically pleasing, **love their banners** if you're wanting to find a good Japanese film to watch Japan Cinema is the place to go.  From romantic comedies to anime series this site has everything. One of my favorite features is their "Top 10" series.  From "Top 10 Ass-Kicking Females of Anime" to "Top 10 Asian Death Scenes" Japan Cinema offers great insight into many films and series.  So next time you are looking for something to watch, check them out.

Day 2

Day 2: A picture of you and the person you have been closest to the longest

I have known my friend Paige since preschool, but the crazy thing is she's adopted too! What a coincidence right? ... this picture is from my 5th birthday (I think) -- tho the amount of humiliating pictures I have of both of us over the years is enough to embarrass us both for a lifetime.. after preschool we went to the same elementary school, middle school, and high school. We've seen each other grow and change over the years and I am sad that we no longer live near each other (she lives in California still, while I'm in Georgia now) but no matter what happens in my life she will always be a part of it... I love her and miss her lots!

Blogging Challenge

So the one year anniversary of this blog came and went without much fuss.  Why? Uh because I'm not the most consistent person in the world! lol..  Actually awhile back I had planned on having a giveaway when I did reach a year but when that time came I hadn't posted much so I didn't really think it would be worth it.

In light of this I am going to try and commit myself to the infamous 30 day (though the site I am referencing says "100 Day Challenge" --- baby steps okay?! lol) photo challenge.  This way at least I'm posting SOMETHING and getting more consistent. Wish me luck!

Wii Fit!

So I got the Wii Fit awhile ago... like a year ago. I played it a few times and then haven't really touched it much since.  Well now that I am a mother of two leaving the house for a run is not very plausible.

Since I've had my second son Jude I have been wanting to get more active and I'm thinking the Wii Fit is my ticket to do so.  We'll see how things go....

Jealous Much? Anime Expo Envy!

With everyone's long weekend finally wrapped up more and more pictures are being posted from Anime Expo in LA... and I'm so jealous! Looking online from various blogs and websites it looks like everyone had a great time and I'm jealous!!...

from FastMatt's Youtube

These cosplays are pretty amazing right? It wasn't till a few years ago that I actually began to appreciate those people who cosplayed.  Up until then I thought of it as basically dress up -- but as you can see its far from it.  Most cosplayers spend hours upon hours perfecting their art and it shows. Wish I was that creative!

Black Butler

I love this anime! I had seen it before on Hulu but they only had the second season, and I hate starting something in the middle so I didnt watch it. However while I was surfing Netflix for something to watch I noticed they had the first season so I thought I would give it a try.
The series is somewhat morbid but you can't help but get drawn in. Basically it is about the demon butler (see? morbid!), Sebastian Michaelis, who serves his master Ciel Phantomhive in avenging the death of his parents and in return Sebastian will get his master's soul.
I know it sounds out there but once you watch an episode it makes a bit more sense.
